Descriptor 3 (a. Experienced staff able to demonstrate, impact and influence through, for example, responsibility for leading, managing or organising programmes, subjects and/or disciplinary areas (.( UK PSF 2011, Page 6)

My areas of Activity in my job
A1 I am designing workshops and course for companies in construction.
A2 Deliver training workshops
A3 Assess the course impact and give feedback to the companies.
A4 Effective learning environment in CCI or in the company premises.
MY Core Knowledge:
K1 as a commercial to deliver a training or course we have to provide sufficient materials as references for our training course.
K2 we deliver from 3hr to 6 months learning courses ( supportive relationship).
K3 as our first step before we deliver the assist for the company we conduct a diagnoses or assessment .
K4 we apply our learning technology, like KPI engine.
K5 we have and evaluation form for any course, and we measure the impact of the assist.
K6 one of our role to helping most of our companies to be qualified in Quality and get certificate such as ISO.
My Professional Values:
V1& V2 we deal with variety of companies, different background, different size, national and international, so we apply our E&D strategy.
V3 we apply our research finding and outcomes to shape our assistant, designing project working with national policy and make companies aware with lasted policy in the sector.
V4 as a part of HE institute we are the link between the industry and the academic, so we support/ study the construction sector and we feed the academic and policy maker with updated issues in the sector.

to achive the Goal 1: Learning and Teaching in LT strategy
there are themes for future development, these are
Student focused (Salford students) ( LT strategy 2012-2017, page 9)
1. Personalised support for students from different backgrounds and studying by different modes – e.g. part-time, mature, in-company and at distance in order to learn and develop.
2. Every student provided with online access to module and programme materials and library resources from any location at any time.
3. High quality lecture halls, classrooms, laboratories, library space and other facilities.
4. Supporting student learning with a variety of resources and services.
5. Working in partnership with the Students’ Union to improve students’ experience.
6. Student charter outlining what can be expected in learning partnerships between staff and students
As I am part of Research centre, the centre considered as professional in the university, we working with companies throughout equip the individual and decision maker in these companies which required skills and knowledge to improve their business.
So out target because it is a commercial services it has to be support the learners with variety of resources (hard and soft copy), high quality services and places to deliver the learning courses and workshop. The learning is an share agreement between learners (companies) and facilitator ( university centre)
